An influencer gave a mini tour of her home and people were left “obsessed” by the many quirky, “wild” and “random” details she had incorporated throughout the property. There’s a rising trend of people offering glimpses into their abodes while the track House Tour, by popstar Sabrina Carpenter, plays over the top.
Micarah Tewers is a US content creator and fashion designer known and loved for her sense of whimsy, as well as her ability to recreate dresses worn by celebrities for a fraction of the cost. In 2020, Tewers amassed 12 million views on a YouTube video detailing her version of Ariana Grande’s grey tulle ballgown by Giambattista Valli, which she wore to the Grammy Awards that year. Micarah managed to make a replica for £29.65 ($40).
A year ago, the content creator purchased a Victorian mansion and has slowly but surely been putting her own personal stamp on it. The property has multiple fireplaces and chandeliers, as well as a ballroom, attic, expansive cellar and more.

In a recent video shared on TikTok, Micarah, 30, shared various snippets of her elaborate home, including the cellar - where she showed herself stirring a cauldron - a movable bookcase concealing a hidden staircase, a Marie Antoinette-worthy, powder blue bedroom, and much more.
When she shared a glimpse of her attic, it really raised some eyebrows. Micarah has a large prop rat from the hit 1987 fantasy film, The Princess Bride.
In the lore of the film, these giant rats - known as Rodents Of Unusual Size or ROUS’s - are huge creatures that live in fire swamps.
In the comments section, fellow TikTok users were keen to share their thoughts - with many distracted after catching sight of the giant rat.
One person said: “I’m so sorry BUT WAS THAT A RAT OF UNUSUAL SIZE”.
Another said: "Something about a pretty girl being weird is everything to me”.
A third asked: “HOW DID YOU GET A FIRE SWAMP RAT FEOM THE PRINCESS BRIDE?!?!?”
While a fourth said: “Each room was more random and wild than the last. 10/10. no notes”.
Someone else shared: “Mind you this is my first impression of you and I'm obsessed”.
Another joked: “Nice to see influencers rescuing instead of buying from a breeder. So rare to find ethically sourced fire swamp rats. It looks so healthy - lovely coat”.
A further person chimed in: “Girl your house got CRAZY COOL, i haven’t seen it since you bought it!!”
Again referencing the rat, another person shared an image of Cary Elwes in The Princess Bride and commented: “Hold up is that a piece of history I see on your back ma’am”.
Another quipped: “I love whatever is wrong with you”.
While someone else added: “Some of these comments clearly haven’t followed Micarah for years to know that this is just who she is lol”.
